Site Operations Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Configuring Linux & OSX systems
  • Participation in 24/7 on-call coverage
  • Performing daily & monthly maintenance tasks (ie: patch upgrades, addressing security, etc)
  • Working under our Site-Ops Manager for project based direction and mentoring
  • Be a key player in defining & delivering on company's longer term technology infrastructure strategy, with a strong emphasis on security and scalability


Requirements:

  • Strong intimacy with Open Source Unix-based (Linux and/or BSD flavors) systems, with at least 10 years of relevant system administrator experience
  • Network monitoring systems - Nagios, Cacti, MRTG
  • Strong knowledge of administrative scripting languages - Bash, Perl,
  • PHP, Ruby, Python, etc.
  • Extensive networking knowledge; specific knowledge with BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP/CARP is key
  • Familiar with DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SQL protocols - can "speak" these protocols
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAN/NAS/DAS storage technologies
  • Ability to recognize the right tool for the right situation/problem

TwoMangoes is searching for a high energy MBA Finance Intern to work at our Toronto headquarters this summer. This intern will have various projects and direct interaction with TwoMangoes leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing return on marketing investments by channel.
  • Completing financial assessment of new distribution opportunities.
  • Conducting competitive analysis across all global markets in which Match competes.
  • Working with Finance to examine forecasting process improvements.
  • Assisting with the annual budget and strategic planning process.


Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled currently in an MBA program, preferably concentrating in Finance.
  • 5+ years work experience in corporate financial planning and budgeting.
  • Strong experience in financial modeling.
  • Computer skills, especially advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Work experience with an internet company is a plus.


Social Media Marketing Intern

  • Develop social media marketing strategies for live projects & new market launches.
  • Create inspiring & clutter breaking ideas for using social media to communicate & achieving business goals
  • Perform secondary research & analysis on the internet
  • Present the leanings gained in an actionable form.


Qualifications:

  • Not only 'into' the internet, but love it (yes...LOVE) & be update on internet trends
  • Active user of various social networks
  • Fluent in written & spoken communications (Will have to demonstrate through examples )
